Can euthanasia or mercy killing be applicable for a hopelessly depressed person?

I am a person who has struggled with serere depression and loneliness for 15 to 20 years and have dealt with it, but I am tired of this, and my loneliness is just getting worse. Some people argue that euthanasia is acceptable for terminally ill people or those with incurable disease, so could a terminally morbidly depressed person find justification for being killed? This is a serious question-not a joke. I really want to die and constantly think of methods of commit suicide but can't quite 'pull the trigger' whether it be hanging or crashing my car or jumping off a known spot for jumpers where I live. Thanks in advance for any insight and/or help and any responses clowning on me are not appreciated.
