After you read the history of the Boston Tea Party, does it hold any relevance to our time in your opinion?

Unfortunately, the American populace has been indoctrinated to reject history and common sense of any kind. It has some significance to today, but people are asleep. Our country is reeling from a mess that has been coming for almost a century, but they think it was all Bush's fault. Our founding fathers warned us about it but to no avail, the T.V. wins their attention. You would like the book: The Founders Second Amendment (great historical facts in there). I would also suggest, The Letters of Thomas Jefferson; John Locke: Second Treatise of Civil Government; John Adams: Thoughts on Government; Frederic Bastiat: The Law; The Federalist Papers; The Anti-Federalist Papers; and Thomas Paine: Common Sense. You can find all but the first book I mentioned at the Campaign for Liberty web site (for free).
