Brake caliper grease fitting?

hi i have a 2000 chevy s10 4x4 pickup.the driver side front brake is starting to make a little noise.i replaced the pad about 8 months ago so im thinking the brake caliper mite be stuck.there is a fitting(looks like a fitting for a grease gun on the brake caliper) is this for grease are brake fluid?
