Anyone's 5mths old baby keep waking up at night crying?

my baby of 5mths old has been getting up very frequently lately. especially since the past 1 - 2 mths. she can get up from every half hr to every 2 hours during midnite. she gets up most of the time crying, then i need to pat / rock her back to sleep. i dun understand why. but i m very sure she is not having gas / colic or watsoever. anyone with similar case? I am really tired .. there's no point using CIO method, as it will wake the entire family up.
